In-Home Respite
Care Services

Support for your loved one.
Time to recharge for you.

Our planned respite program brings temporary, non-medical care and supervision into the comfort of home—helping families maintain familiar routines while primary caregivers take a needed break.

RCOC vendorization is pending. Mojo is applying for Service Code 862 — In-Home Respite Services Agency. RCOC-funded services will begin only after vendor approval and individual service authorization.

Our planned services

Everyday support.
A meaningful break.

Respite gives a parent, family member or primary caregiver time to rest, attend appointments, work or care for other family responsibilities. Each assignment will reflect the person's needs, preferences and authorized service plan.

Attentive, non-medical supervision and safety support during scheduled respite hours.

Personal-care routines

Assistance with everyday self-care, hygiene and toileting within the caregiver's training and approved scope.

Meals & familiar routines

Support with meals, snacks and customary routines that help a person feel comfortable at home.

Communication & engagement

Respectful conversation, shared activities and age-appropriate recreation guided by individual preferences.

Mobility & daily activities

Assignment-appropriate assistance when available staff can safely meet the person's authorized needs.

Relief for caregivers

Temporary support that allows a primary caregiver to step away while their loved one receives attentive care.

The proposed program is non-medical. Skilled nursing, clinical behavior treatment and transportation are not included in this service description.

The person comes first

Care built around
the individual.

We are developing a program for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism. We will consider each person's communication, mobility, self-care, safety needs, routines and family preferences before accepting an assignment.

  • Respect for dignity, privacy, choice and cultural preferences.
  • A caregiver match based on individual needs and available staff skills.
  • Required screening and assignment-specific orientation before independent care.
  • Clear communication with families and the RCOC Service Coordinator.

Our proposed staffing standards include background screening, CPR and First Aid, consumer-rights training, confidentiality, emergency procedures, and abuse and incident reporting.

Getting started

A clear path to respite support.

1. Talk with Mojo

Tell us your city, preferred schedule and general support needs. We can discuss the planned program and anticipated availability.

2. Coordinate with RCOC

For RCOC-funded respite, discuss eligibility and service needs with your Service Coordinator. Services remain subject to Mojo's vendor approval.

3. Confirm the care plan

After approval and written authorization, we will review the assignment, confirm a suitable staff match and agree on a service schedule.

Our relationship with RCOC: Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC is seeking vendorization as a Service Code 862 provider. We are not currently an approved RCOC respite vendor. Learn about the Regional Center of Orange County at rcocdd.com.
